Randomness

I feel like there is purpose in living a random life, and that is to learn and to get uncomfortable. In other word, it’s a way to ignore your preferences and experiment with things you would have not otherwise. It raises the question; is there a problem with destining you life around your preferences? I believe that it’s okay to stick to what you’re comfortable with, button to limit yourself when an opportunity arises. I wonder if Alex ever wanted a break. Would he ever want to make a decision based on his preferences , not on an algorithm?
